To strengthen our team in Nuremberg-Schwarzenbruck, we are looking for:
Embedded Firmware Engineer (Medical Devices) (m/f/d) - Nürnberg
As part of a successful international team, you will be an important link in the development and implementation of new medical technology products for customers in hospitals worldwide. Together with you, we will define the content of your activities, individually tailored to your previous knowledge and our ongoing projects.
Your Tasks
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for radiation measurement systems
- Contribute to new product platforms and features
- Implement communication interfaces for medical imaging systems
- Perform debugging, testing and verification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
- Experience with CANopen communication
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with microcontroller-based systems and communication protocols
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Experience with medical devices or measurement systems
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 environments
- Hardware debugging or PCB design experience
- Python for test automation
