Job Description
- Together with the rheometer team, you will be responsible for the management of the rheometers
- Perform measurements and analyze customer samples
- Supporting sales by attending customer visits, discussing measurement results, and demonstrating high-quality analytical instruments
- Collaborate with the Research and Development department on the development and enhancement of rheometers, their accessories, and software
- Create application notes and occasionally scientific publications for professional journals
- Represent NETZSCH Analytics & Testing at trade fairs and conferences, occasionally delivering technical presentations
- Support customer training, conveying product- and application-specific knowledge, and conducting on-site demonstrations at customer locations or in application labs in Selb when required
Qualifications
- You have a university degree in natural sciences, preferably in Chemistry or a comparable program
- Ideally, you already have theoretical and practical knowledge in rheology, including:
- Rotational rheology (e.g., shear viscosity, shear rate, and viscosity curve) and
- Capillary rheology (e.g., complex, elastic, and viscous shear modulus, frequency, linear-viscoelastic range (LVER), amplitude and frequency sweep)
- You are willing to further expand your knowledge in additional methods of thermal analysis
- You have a flawless and courteous demeanor towards customers and excel in cooperative teamwork
- You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are a plus
- You are willing to travel
